by | Dec 20, 2019

Danielle shares how she started a Diversity and Inclusion initiative at VHB. Danielle works in the AEC industry which stands for Architecture, Engineering and Construction. Danielle and I talk about what it takes to get a Diversity and Inclusion initiative off the ground in a traditionally male dominated industry. Danielle was really open about how change is happening slowly. The truth is, when you’re the one doing the work it’s hard to see progress. The truth is in 18 short months they’ve gotten almost 70% of their employees engaged in Pride initiatives, the existence of their diversity and inclusion Employee Resource Group helped VHB to attract a star employee and conversations are happening at the C level.
