2. How to bridge the education gap with Charles Milton, CEO of Bursity.org

by | Jul 23, 2020

I met Charles Milton about a year ago, and the thing that stood out to me about him was this desire that he has to help people. He wants other people to succeed, and to help them overcome whatever barriers are in the way of them moving forward in creating the success that they want. I am so honoured to consider him one of my friends and that he came on the podcast to share his story with you. He is the founder and CEO of Bursity, which is a company that is bridging the education gap, and getting more students the money they need to pursue higher learning.

Charles Milton is the founder of Bursity.org, and is a community advocate and social entrepreneur dedicated to helping marginalized demographics improve access to post secondary education. A recent graduate of Nova Scotia Community College, in the Data Analytics and Information Technology, he is the recipient of the 2019 Business Innovation, and Alumni Rising Star awards. He landed on the idea of Bursity, North America’s largest database of financial awards exclusively for marginalized students, when he realized he had the skills and life experience to address such a big problem.
